i try to pretend it doesn't affect me, i try to pretend i don't care - but do you know i have feelings too? and they get hurt. i would walk down the hallways thinking i'm not good enough, thinking that no one cares, thinking that i'm worthless. i try to be nice, i really try, and if i haven't did anything bad or mean to you, then DON'T judge me. if you're doing it because i'm asian, then well, you're a really sad person.

i'm not ashamed of what i am, who i am, and where i came from. i've told people when they ask me, "which country do you come from?", singapore. they think it's a state in china or something. i've lost count of times i tried explaining where it was exactly. "yes, it's in asia, it's beside malaysia, do you know where malaysia is?"

i don't deny that sometimes, just sometimes, i wish i was white. white people have it so much easier, don't they - their parents give them so much freedom, grades don't matter, you don't have to worry about fitting in. not for me. not for me.

i hate being used too - did i tell you about that? so your friend's hanging with you, but bam, her ol friend she hasn't seen in ages appears and there your friend goes, ditching you without a word and running along with her new friend. and then, when her new friend ditches her, she comes back to you acting like nothing has happened. oh god. why can't people have more pride?

sorry i just had to rant. god. middle school has way too much drama then i can handle.
